SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICE

Dominicus, 11am, Princeton University Chapel

Bring together us each Sunday for worship in the University Chapel, led by the dean and the associate dean of religious life and of the chapel, that draws students, kinesthesia, staff, and townspeople together to hear God's discussion, to sing God's praise, to elevator up the University in prayer.

*All persons, including members of the broader community, are welcome to attend this consequence if they are fully vaccinated against Covid-19 if over age 12. Registration is required for contact tracing purposes. Starting March 14, 2022, confront coverings will be optional in most University spaces, with some exceptions. Details may be found in the Safe Practices department.

Guest Preacher - Rev. Erica N. Williams is a faith leader, organizer, international human rights activist and customs leader, who is committed to serving with head and eye.  Rev. Erica is a 2016 graduate of The Howard Academy School of Divinity where she obtained a Master of Divinity caste. The context of her ministry lies in the intersectionality of organized religion and organizing. Currently, she is the National Social Justice Organizer for Repairers of the Breach, an interfaith organization founded past Rev. Dr. William J. Barber, 2.  Rev. Erica is also serving every bit an organizer for the Poor People's Entrada: A National Call for Moral Revival. This Fall Rev. Erica volition begin the Main of Religion and Public Life program at Harvard Divinity School.  Rev. Erica is the Founding Pastor of Prepare Information technology Off Ministries, an international, interfaith, intergenerational ministry that seeks to empower, brainwash, and emancipate poor and working-class communities around the earth. She has washed ministry/organizing work in South Africa, Ghana, Brazil, and Palestine. She is involved in numerous professional organizations such equally the World Educatee Christian Federation–U.s., National Homeless Spousal relationship, Freedom Church of the Poor, Pop Education Project, Black Christians for Palestine, The Bread for the World Pan African Young Adult Network, NAACP, National Council of Negro Women, Top Ladies of Distinction, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and the Order of the Eastern Star.  Rev. Erica is ordained in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Her favorite quote is by Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr "I choose to place with the underprivileged," Rex said. "I choose to identify with the poor. I cull to give my life for the hungry. I choose to requite my life for those who take been left out of the sunlight of opportunity. I choose to live for those who find themselves seeing life equally a long and desolate corridor with no leave sign. This is the way I'm going. If it means suffering a fiddling bit, I'm going that mode. If it means sacrificing, I'thousand going that way. If it means dying for them, I'thou going that way, considering I heard a voice saying, `Practice something for others.'" Rev. Erica has dedicated her life to working to help liberate those who take been marginalized and oppressed by the unjust systems in guild. Her life's mission is summed up in the Gospel passage of Luke four:xviii-nineteen.

Guest Organist - We welcome organist Alfred Yoon - Alfred Yoon is a member of the Form of 2022 from Berkeley, California. He is studying Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering science with a certificate in Materials Scientific discipline and Engineering. Alfred has performed at the Legion of Honor every bit function of the 2017 Organ Concert Series, the Consummate Bach Trio Sonatas Recital at St. Mark's Berkeley, and the 9 Lessons and Carols Service with St. Mark'south Choir.
